As a companion to our well-received Metro 2" acoustic Absorber and Metro LENRD Bass Trap, we've recently introduced the MetroFusor Sound Diffusor.
It's custom made from high quality EPS (expanded Polystyrene), so it's lightweight, affordable and can be easily painted using water-based paints ONLY (petroleum-based paints will 'eat' the expanded Polystyrene). They are also easy to mount and inexpensive to ship.
The MetroFusor features the same distinctive, proprietary surface contour as our Metro acoustic foam Absorber for a clean, consistent architecturally-pleasing appearance that looks upscale and attractive in even the most highbrow of environments.
Note: Do not use Foamtak Spray Adhesive to mount the Q'Fusors. Use Tubetak or Tubetak Pro only.

MetroFusor sound diffusors are paired to create 2’x4’ grouping and then alternated with 2’x4’ panels of 2” Metro Studiofoam on the vaulted ceiling of Kenny Aronoff’s drum bungalow. MetroFusors reduce harsh sound reflections without drying out the room, perfect for Kenny’s demanding ears!
MetroFusor sound diffusors are clustered in this multi-function room, adding enhanced clarity to the piano while improving imaging for the mix position.
MetroFusor sound diffusors are clustered on the ceiling of a Home Theater to enhance imaging and detail. The 2” profile is a welcome feature of the MetroFusor panels.
